My name is Ms. Amelia Brown. I love my job and cannot imagine doing anything else. I went all through school in the district I teach in and am so proud to teach here!
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Northern Kentucky University. I have a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Xavier University. I am Nationally Board Certified in Early and Middle Childhood Literacy from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. I am also a Google Certified Educator, Level 1 and 2.
This is my 16th year teaching. I have experience in primary, intermediate,
and reading intervention.
I am head coach of our 5th grade Girls on the Run team. I run a fall season on our school's campus with the help of four other amazing coaches.
Next to teaching, my favorite job is being a mom! I am a mom to this amazing 11-year-old!
